In this issue we are pleased to share with you COMMENTS FROM OUR AUDIENCE MEMBERS who attended our "Bach for More" concert on 24 November 2005. Here are comments from some of the audience members: The programme is popular and accessible, the musicianship excellent and the sound balanced and well modulated. And I love Bach! ---------- Mrs. Allison (Tsim Sha Tsui) The repertoire is great ..... especially the Suite! ---------- Miss To (North Point) Captivating performance - the CCOHK showed their strong ability to adapt to a master religious venue - St. John's Cathedral. ---------- Mr. Noakes (New Territories) The venue suited the programme very well. The violin solo in the second movement of Brandenburg concerto No. 3 was extremely impressive. The sound of the harpsichord was more prominent than expected (very good). The oboist had a lovely rapport with the soprano. ---------- Mr. Chan (Sha Tin) What a blessing. An evening which refreshed my soul. Will be back for more! ---------- Miss Yu (Sha Tin) Excellent choice of pieces in a perfect venue. ---------- Mr. Nafe (Shek O)
