The University of Hong Kong’s HISTORIC Loke Yew Hall provides the PERFECT venue for a celebration of Mozart’s 250th anniversary. Austrian pianist Gerda Struhal performs Mozart’s piano concerto No. 9 and teams up with Canadian soprano Amelia Watkins for arguably one of the GREATEST concert arias Mozart ever composed. Two of Mozart’s most popular orchestral works compliment the rest of the programme led by Israeli Lior Shambadal, conductor of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.

Mozart : Piano concerto No. 9 in E Flat major, K.271 (Jeunehomme)
Mozart : Concert aria for soprano & piano obbligato, K.505,
    “Ch’io mi scordi di te? ... Non temer, amato bene”
Mozart : Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K.550

Note: Free Seating. Patrons are strongly advised to arrive early. Children under six will not be admitted. The programme lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes with an intermission of 15 minutes.
