In this issue we are pleased to share with you COMMENTS FROM OUR AUDIENCE MEMBERS who attended our “Make it Mozart” concert on 20 November 2006. Here are comments from some of the audience members: A lovely performance. I especially liked the piano concerto. The evening was completed with an inspiring rendition of Mozart’s symphony No. 40. ---------- Ms. Lam (Hung Hom) A fine assembly of players. Fine music and brilliant conducting. Outstanding oboe performance in Mozart’s divertimento. ---------- Mr. Cheuk (Pok Fu Lam) I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of all members of the orchestra. A salute to Lior Shambadal for producing such a pleasing tone colour from the players. ---------- Mr. Maxwell (Central) A tour de force - every single note took my breath away. Tonight’s performance reminded me of the value of live performance. ---------- Miss Lau (Tsim Sha Tsui) I enjoyed the piano concerto. The music really moved me. ---------- Miss Mok (Tsing Yi) The performance was joyful, graceful, rich, strong, precise, sometimes vividly playful and sometimes serene. The orchestra, piano and soprano were in perfect harmony. My mind was carried away by this big feast of Mozart. ---------- Mr. Ng (Lantau Island)
