In this issue we are pleased to share with you COMMENTS FROM OUR AUDIENCE MEMBERS who attended our "Tostissimo" concert on 6 June 2007. Here are comments from some of the audience members: This was my first time listening to Tosti – a new experience for me. I found the music both refreshing and melodious. Marco Salcito's guitar playing was out of this world and the two singers were brilliant. ---------- Mr. Ip (Tsz Wan Shan) This concert exceeded my expectations. It was not just a song recital, but a charming mix of songs, instrumental pieces and narrative. The singers' beautiful voices got even more beautiful the more they sang. Marco Salcito's arrangements played a big part in making this an exceptional evening. ---------- Mr. Werner (Hong Kong Island) It was a wonderful concert - the soprano Novella Bassano was especially charming. ---------- Mrs. Lo (Mid-Levels) This concert gave me a very good impression. Thank you! ---------- Mr. Yu (Southern District) A lovely and enchanting performance by the two vocalists and all the instrumentalists. ---------- Ms. Chiron (Mid-Levels) What a successful concert! The singers have gorgeous voices. All the different emotions in the songs were well presented. I was captivated even though I don’t know Italian. The orchestra worked together very well: there were varieties in the musical idioms, sometimes lyrical, sometimes rhythmic. I was especially hypnotized by Luca Ciarla’s violin solo. ---------- Ms. But (Hung Hom)
